Article 38d MiFIROn-site inspections
ESMA may carry out on-site inspections, with or without notice, at the premises of data reporting services providers it supervises, including sealing premises and records, with the assistance of national authorities and police where needed, and may ask national authorities to carry out inspections on its behalf; judicial authorisation is sought where national law requires.
